Abby Rey is an actress based in Las Vegas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Arts from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
She has been writing and directing short plays and coaching young actors for 20 years. In 2017, she made her directorial debut with Theater in the Valley‘s production of “Tribute” by Bernard Slade. Abby has been a professional actress for seven years, starring in seven feature films.
In 2021, she received a Best Actress award for her performance in “The Doll House” for the 48 Hour Film Project.

On-Camera Acting I






This 12 week course is suitable for beginner actors who are interested in learning the basics techniques of acting for the camera. Adults 16+
Concepts Covered:
Materials: Notebook (for notes), Pencil, SD Card, Props & Costumes recommended.
This 12 week course is suitable for intermediate film actors who are continuing their acting training and who have several film credits under their belt. Adults 16+
Prerequisites: On-Camera Acting I or Basic Acting for the Camera or a basic understanding of acting techniques and film sets.
Students will be putting into practice what they learned in Basic Acting for the Camera. Students will workshop scenes and monologues in front of the camera.
Students are expected to be early and be prepared and memorized before class.

This 12 week course is suitable for intermediate and advanced film actors who are looking to workshop and rehearse scenes on a regular basis. Adults 18+
Best for working actors who have a strong understanding of acting techniques.
*This class is collaborative with a mixture of actors, writers and directors and is perfect for training as well as networking.
Students are expected to be early and be prepared and memorized before class. Students are also expected to have updated resumes, headshots and reels.
Students will work with different local directors every week. Students are expected to memorize and perform 8-10 short scenes with different scene partners.

This 12 week course is suitable for intermediate film actors who are continuing their acting training and who have several film credits under their belt. Teens 14-18.
Prerequisites: On-Camera Acting I, Acting for TV & Film (with Mindy) or a basic understanding of acting techniques or experience on film sets.
Students will workshop scenes and monologues in front of the camera are expected to be prepared and memorized before class.
